Lauren Gilbert received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Towson University and is currently a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in MD. Lauren is a member of the police-based Mobile Crisis Team in Anne Arundel County, MD and works with first responders and healthcare professionals in providing mental health services to individuals and groups in crisis. She serves as a Therapist within the Special Behaviors Program at the Woodbourne Residential Treatment Center in Baltimore, MD and provides trauma-informed individual and family therapy. Lauren has also contributed to published work on the treatment of adults with complex trauma. Lauren is CISM trained and has been involved in the creation of the Healthcare Crisis Management and Staff Support track in the ICISF COST program. She is an ICISF faculty member and is the coauthor of the ICISF Resilience in Healthcare: Performance, Meaning and Connection course.
