ICISF Regional Trainings
Due to the impact of COVID19 many of our events have been cancelled. An additional option to attend our training is through Remote Learning – Live Presentation. Look here for more information.
Take care, be safe and healthy!
The ICISF Regional Trainings are “must attend” experiences for anyone working in the fields of Crisis Intervention, Disaster Response, Education, Emergency Services, Employee Assistance, Healthcare, Homeland Security, Human Resources, Mental Health, Military, Spiritual Care, Transportation and Traumatic Stress.
A variety of courses are taught by our renowned faculty during a four- or five-day training. Registrants have the opportunity to attend several courses, earn Continuing Education, network with CISM practitioners from around the world, discuss CISM team issues with ICISF faculty and staff, and fulfill program requirements for ICISF’s Certificate of Specialized Training Program.
At this time we have not scheduled in person Regional Training, please be sure to view the alternative options of our training on the Education & Training page by clicking here.
ICISF offers discounts on registration fees for our ICISF Members who are Active Military, Veterans, Students, and Groups of five or more. For additional information, please contact [email protected], Regional Training Coordinator.
The Academy of Crisis Intervention Program awards full/partial scholarships to assist individuals who are unable to attend ICISF training due to financial constraints. This scholarship program was designed for people who have never had any ICISF training or are just getting started in crisis intervention. For details, visit our Academy of Crisis Intervention Scholarship Fund page. Have Questions? Visit our Scholarship FAQ’s page before contacting Kelly Hall, Development Coordinator, at [email protected] or (443) 325-5218.
Want to host a Regional Training in your city?
ICISF looks to partner with organizations to host ICISF Regional Trainings. If you and your team/agency/organization are willing to provide the coordination and marketing of the Regional Training, supply required A/V equipment, as well as assist with on-site volunteer support, you may be eligible to host. Regional Trainings are schedule 12-18 months in advance and are typically in areas within a 30 minute drive from a major international airport. In return for your support, ICISF provides the opportunity to earn scholarships for the training you host as well as a portion of the net proceeds.
