  • Advanced Assisting Individuals in Crisis (formerly Advanced Individual Crisis Intervention and Peer Support)
  • Advanced Group Crisis Intervention
  • Strategic Response to Crisis

One of these are required

  • Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention

OR

  • Understanding Suicide: Effective Tools for Prevention, Intervention and Survivor Support

OR

  • Suicide Awareness: An Introduction for Crisis Responders (Online - 14 contact hours)

OR

  • Suicide Awareness: An Introduction for Crisis Responders (Live - 7 contact hours) PLUS a One Day Elective

1-Day Courses

  • Techniques for Delivering Bad News for Crisis Response Personnel (Live or Online)
  • Understanding Uniformed Services Family Stress
  • Workplace Violence

Healthcare Crisis Management and Staff Support

Must complete Staff Support in the Healthcare setting along with 2 one-day courses

2-Day Course (Required for Specialty Track)

  • Staff Support in the Healthcare Setting

1-Day Courses

  • Resilience in Healthcare: Performance, Meaning and Connection
  • Techniques for Delivering Bad News for Crisis Response Personnel (Live or Online)

Mass Disasters & Terrorism

Two courses required

2-Day Courses

  • Emotional & Spiritual Care in Disasters
  • Resilience Training: Psychological Survival Skills for Before, During and After Crises
  • Terrorism: Psychological Impact and Implications

Schools & Children Crisis Response

Total of 4 days of training required for this specialty (either two 2-day courses OR one 2-day course and 2-one day courses)

  • Managing School Crises: From Theory to Application (Live or Online)

1-Day Course

Workplace Violence (1 Day) - PLUS - an additional 1 day elective

Spiritual Care in Crisis Intervention
