Taylor, Julie (Jules)

Julie (Jules) Taylor is a crisis responder with over 20 years of experience in disasters, crises and emergencies. A New Yorker for over two decades, Jules was a chaplain onsite at St. Paul’s Chapel respite center following the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. It was after the respite center closed that Jules was first introduced to CISM. Since that time Jules has volunteered as a crisis responder with the Hudson Valley CISM Team, Disaster Chaplaincy Services, and the Unitarian Universalist Trauma Response Ministry Team and was an EMT with the Central Park Medical Unit. Currently Jules is the Senior Director of Contextual Ministry and an affiliate professor at Meadville Lombard Theological School. In addition, Jules serves as a chaplain (Major) with the New York Air National Guard. Jules has been an ICISF instructor since 2006 and teaches seven courses for the Foundation and is a co-author of one. A sought-after consultant, speaker, and teacher, Jules has contributed chapters to several books on the subject of spiritual care and crisis.
