Karen Wright, LICSW, SAP, is a federal EAP counselor with the Executive Office for the United States Attorney’s (EOUSA) office, providing internal counseling and consultation services to the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, United States Attorneys Offices, and family members. Prior to joining EOUSA Karen was a EAP counselor with COPE Inc., providing on-site EAP services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Karen started her EAP career providing clinical assessment, treatment recommendations, and short term counseling for a variety of mental health issues for the Pentagon Employee Referral Service. She has extensive experience with both trauma and substance related concerns in the workplace. She is very active in EAPA, her professional association, and currently holds the position of President of the Potomac chapter. Karen received her Master of Social Work with Concentration in Employee Assistance Programs from the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work, Baltimore, MD.
