Tania Glenn, PsyD, LCSW, CTS is a clinical therapist in private practice. She specializes in trauma and is a Certified Trauma Specialist. Dr. McIntosh is also a managing partner of Readiness Group International, where she provides trauma-based services including critical incident stress management, workplace violence prevention and intervention, crew resource management, workplace cultural analyses and team building. She also serves as the Critical Incident Stress Management Coordinator for Austin/Travis County EMS. Her prior experience includes work as an Emergency Room Social Worker at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Dr. McIntosh is the Clinical Director of the Surface To Air Response Team and the Southwest Airlines Critical Incident Response Team. Her background experience includes providing services after the Oklahoma City bombing, the attacks on the World Trade Center and numerous other incidents including line of duty deaths and suicides. Dr. McIntosh has written numerous articles on critical incident stress management and is a regular contributor to Air Beat, the journal of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association. Dr. McIntosh received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from The University of Texas in Austin, and her Doctorate in Psychology from California Coast University. She also completed the Austin Police Academy in 1998. |
